Oregon's Measure 109 created a legal, regulated framework for psilocybin services — and with it, a real need for skilled preparation and integration. The experience itself is a doorway; integration is how it becomes lasting change in your relationships, work, and inner life.
What integration therapy involves
Integration sessions help you make meaning of what emerged — insights, difficult material, encounters with parts of yourself — and translate it into daily life. We draw on IFS and somatic approaches, which pair naturally with non-ordinary states: the parts and body-level experiences that surface in a journey often ask for exactly this kind of follow-through.
Preparation matters just as much. Sessions before an experience help clarify intention, build regulation skills, and identify what support you'll want afterward.
Experienced, licensed support
Aspen Counseling's founder is certified in psychedelic-assisted therapy, with clinical experience spanning ketamine, psilocybin, and MDMA-assisted modalities. Note: we provide licensed therapy for preparation and integration; psilocybin administration itself happens at licensed service centers under Oregon's program.

Common questions
Is this legal?
Yes. Psilocybin services are legal in Oregon at licensed service centers under Measure 109. Our role is therapeutic preparation and integration, which is legal licensed counseling.
I had a difficult experience. Can integration help?
Yes — challenging journeys are often the ones with the most to integrate. Working with what surfaced, at the body and parts level, is a core part of this work.
